For Poised In Flight, our first anthology of 2013, we asked the writing community to ponder the theme “wings,” and they rose to the occasion brilliantly. Several delved into the fantastical flights and follies of mythical icons. Some took us on metaphorical flights of passage and transcendence. This is a delightful collection of poetry and prose which is perfect for 'dipping into'. It would make an excellent gift for a person of a literary bent.
The Poised in Flight Anthology is a very nice collection of poetry. The layout of the pages is as expected of a good publisher with a beautiful cover art by Amy Hoffman of a crow transfixed by the brilliancy of the content of the anthology that inspires the following sub-title, The Crow that Thought of Itself as Being Icarus and in that Process Dimmed the Sun with its Wings.

An impressive collection of work created around the idea of "Poised In Flight." I'm lucky enough to have a poem published in this anthology, but I would have bought a copy anyway. It's that good.
